Rally Estonia visitor conduct and safety rules

To ensure the safety of all Rally Estonia visitors, spectators, staff, and event organizers, Rally Estonia has established rules that must be followed by everyone present in the Rally Estonia event areas – including special stages, spectator areas, EXPO, and Service Park areas. Even a single violation of the conduct and safety rules or behavior that endangers others can disrupt the rally, jeopardize people's health and well-being, and in extreme cases, may result in the cancellation of the entire event, including the evacuation of all people from the event premises.

Therefore, we kindly ask everyone without exception to follow the rules below and to remind other visitors who ignore these rules of the necessity to comply.

1. Entry and Rally Passes

  • Entry to Rally Estonia spectator areas and special stages is granted by a rally pass. Without a rally pass, you CANNOT access the trackside or spectator areas!
    • The RALLY PASS is a digital pass and grants access to all ERC Rally Estonia spectator areas (except VIP spectator areas).*
    • The VIP PASS is a physical product and grants access to all ERC Rally Estonia VIP areas, including regular spectator areas.*

*The organizer has the right to make changes regarding event passes, event areas, the program, or other event circumstances in accordance with the organizer's best judgment, based on government authority orders or other applicable requirements or recommendations. Where possible, buyers will be notified of changes in advance. The buyer does not have the right to demand a ticket refund or reduction in price due to the above-mentioned changes if the organizer has enabled the buyer to participate in the event.

  • Security checks will be conducted at spectator area entrances, during which security personnel have the right to inspect the belongings of persons wishing to enter, including bags, pockets, and other items. Visitors refusing security checks will not be allowed trackside. Security personnel have the right to deny entry to persons in possession of prohibited items. Security personnel also have the right to remove from spectator areas and trackside those who do not comply with conduct and safety rules.

1.1. Prohibited items:

  • Professional photo, video, and audio recording devices (including drones), except with a general and/or personal permit issued by the event organizer;
  • Food and drinks in glass containers, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages;
  • Narcotic, pyrotechnic, highly flammable, toxic, radioactive, staining, strongly scented, and other substances of unclear composition;
  • Cold weapons and firearms;
  • Large sports bags, suitcases, and other bulky items that disturb other visitors’ comfort;
  • Other items prohibited in civil circulation or items that may endanger other persons’ life or health or disrupt the event.

NB! The organizer is not obliged to store prohibited items.

1.2. Prohibited activities:

The following activities are prohibited for any persons, including visitors, in the spectator areas:

  • Igniting or using open fire and using any pyrotechnic or explosive devices;
  • Being present while visibly intoxicated (alcohol or narcotics);
  • Inappropriate or disruptive behavior towards other visitors;
  • Providing catering services, including preparing, serving, or selling brought-in food;
  • Providing any other services or conducting attractions and displays not agreed in writing with the event organizer;
  • Flying drones is strictly prohibited in the airspace restricted for the event! Only drones authorized by the event organizers may fly. Unauthorized drones will be removed by the police using anti-drone equipment, seized as a precaution, and the drone operator (pilot) will be held liable under applicable law. The drone operator (pilot) is responsible for any damages caused by the interception of an unauthorized drone.

2. Traffic Management and Parking

  • Parking during the event is only allowed in areas designated and marked by the organizers. If parking outside the designated areas, you must comply with the Road Traffic Act requirements for stopping and parking. Vehicles parked in the wrong place will be towed at the owner's expense.
  • To ensure smooth event flow and reduce traffic jams, we recommend arriving with one vehicle per group whenever possible to reduce the total number of vehicles and thus the likelihood of traffic jams.
  • Please note that there will be a lot of cars on the roads, so allow for possible stops, time needed for parking, and leave enough time to find a good viewing spot. The official rally radio KUKU and the Waze traffic info platform are the fastest channels for information about traffic jams, race interruptions, parking, etc.
  • Please allow enough time when traveling on event roads and accessing parking areas. It is mandatory to follow the rules set out in the Road Traffic Act, observe the speed limits, and follow good driving practices.
  • When driving at the event and entering parking areas, you must strictly follow the instructions given by traffic and parking organizers.

3. Watching Special Stages, Safety and Security

  • The rally can only be watched from official spectator areas designated and marked by the organizer, which are shown on the special stage maps, on the www.rallyestonia.ee website, and in the official rally magazine.
  • After the stage ends, the finish car with a green beacon will open the road. Please note that the special stage is not opened for traffic between two runs.
  • It is strictly forbidden to be in zones marked with the sign "RESTRICTED AREA". The rally may only be watched from designated spectator areas.
  • Pay special attention to the safety of your children and pets.
  • When a rally car passes, stand up and face the car so you can react quickly in case of danger.
  • All security personnel instructions must be followed unconditionally. If they or the zero cars inform the organizers that the stage cannot be safely conducted, that stage will simply be canceled. If you see spectators behaving dangerously, please help to correct them and inform security personnel.

4. Additional information to ensure the rally experience for spectators with reduced mobility.

  • A person with reduced mobility can park in the VIP parking lot or, if unavailable, as close as possible to the spectator area. Please inform the on-site security or parking coordinator about this.
  • Entry is free for the companion of a person with reduced mobility.
