100 days to go until the start of WRC Delfi Rally Estonia

In 100 days, on July 16, WRC Delfi Rally Estonia will kick off as a round of the FIA World Rally Championship, marking the sixth time the event is held in Estonia. This year’s rally brings several updates and changes, all aimed at one goal – delivering the world’s best and safest rally. With 100 days to go before the start, it is the perfect moment to review what’s new and highlight the added value for spectators at this year’s Rally Estonia. It is also the last chance to see this generation of powerful Rally1 cars competing in Estonia, making it an ideal time to plan your summer, including a visit to WRC Delfi Rally Estonia from July 16–19 in Tartu and Southern Estonia.

The organization of the rally continues to follow a clear principle: preserve what already works well while introducing new and exciting solutions each year for drivers, teams, and spectators alike. As a result, the 2026 edition of WRC Delfi Rally Estonia features several new elements.

One of the key changes is that the shakedown will take place on Friday morning, followed by the first special stages later that same day. The traditional opening show and start podium will be held on Thursday, July 16, starting at 18:00 in Tartu Town Hall Square. For the first time, this will be followed by a Rally1 demonstration run in Tartu city center near the start podium, offering spectators a unique experience. All events in Tartu Town Hall Square and the city center are free of charge.

In 2025, a new Power Stage concept was introduced at Kääriku Sports Center, including the rally finish podium and award ceremony, and it received very positive feedback. This year, the rally finale will once again take place at the same location, offering an exciting experience for spectators, TV audiences, and drivers alike.

The Rally Estonia Service Park and EXPO area will be located at the Estonian National Museum, right at the heart of the rally. Visitors can watch teams at work in the service area, follow the rally action, explore the EXPO and shopping area, and participate in the daily “Meet the Crews” sessions. Entry to the Service Park and EXPO area is free for spectators, with gates opening on Thursday, July 16, at 12:00. The area will feature entertainment, simulators, fan merchandise, food and drinks, car brands, and partner exhibits.

All fans are encouraged to arrive in Tartu already on Thursday, July 16, to visit the Service Park and EXPO area behind the Estonian National Museum and to enjoy the opening show and other activities in Tartu city center later in the evening.

On July 17, the official Rally Estonia concert will take place at the Tartu Song Festival Grounds – “5MIINUST 10 Years,” which will be the band’s biggest concert ever and their only performance this summer.

Tickets for the concert are available, and there is also a special Friday “RALLY KOMBO” pass, which includes access to Friday’s rally stages as well as the 5MIINUST concert.

It is worth planning your summer holiday early, especially if you intend to include Rally Estonia in your plans. This also includes booking accommodation, and it is recommended to explore the accommodation database available on the Rally Estonia website, offering a wide range of options.

Each year, more spectators attend Rally Estonia with camper vans or motorhomes. This year, more designated areas are available for them, making the experience even better. More detailed information about locations and facilities will be shared as the rally approaches.

As in previous years, WRC Delfi Rally Estonia rally passes are digital. In addition, day passes and fan passes are available, the latter including a specially designed lanyard card. Plan your summer holiday with family and friends in the beautiful Estonian nature!
