When will the sale of rally passes start?
Pre-sale of rally passes will start in December 2021. It is possible to add a card with a personalized wish to the recipient, which describes the purchased products and allows the buyer of the gift to add a personalized wish for Christmas, Birthday or any other special occasion. The possibility of choosing and personalizing the card opens in the shopping cart of the Rally Estonia e-store and the card becomes available in .pdf format, whereby the buyer can print it out and send it to the recipient of the gift in a suitable way.
When will I receive my rally passes?
Your order will be packed and ready for dispatch within 14 days and your rally passes will be delivered to the preferred location chosen by you with Omniva, the official courier partner of rallyestonia.com. Once we have dispatched the goods, you will receive a confirmation e-mail.
Which spectator areas can I access with a rally pass?
RALLY PASS provides access to all WRC Rally Estonia spectator areas on all days of the event. Please note that the Organizer has the right to make changes in connection with the event, rally pass access, program or other circumstances of the event at the best discretion of the organizer due to the orders of the Health Board or other State authority or other requirements or recommendations applicable to the organizer.
Is it possible to buy VIP tickets?
Yes, a limited number of VIP tickets are also available for sale.
Which viewing areas can I access with a VIP pass?
VIP PASS allows access to all VIP spectator areas on all days of the event (incl. access to regular rally pass spectator areas). Please note that the Organizer has the right to make changes in connection with the event, rally pass access, program or other circumstances of the event at the best discretion of the organizer due to the orders of the Health Board or other State authority or other requirements or recommendations applicable to the organizer.
Are there no restrictions on the number of spectators or viewing areas in 2022?
The Rally Estonia organizing team works in the hope that the 2022 rally can take place under normal conditions again and there are no limitations for the number of spectators or restrictions for spectator areas. In case the national covid situation deteriorates, please note that the Organizer has the right to make changes in connection with the event, rally pass access, program or other circumstances of the event at the best discretion of the organizer due to the orders of the Health Board or other State authority or other requirements or recommendations applicable to the organizer.
Do I need to buy a separate vehicle pass?
No, this year there is no separate vehicle pass, all rally pass holders can access the parking areas provided by the organizers. VIP pass purchase includes a vehicle sticker, which enables access to VIP parking areas.
When and where can you buy Rally Estonia fan stickers?
Fan stickers will be available for sale in the spring of 2022. In the period prior to the sale, we will publish the relevant information in all Rally Estonia communication channels.
Where can I find accurate information and special stage maps?
You can find the most detailed information in the WRC Rally Estonia magazine, which will be available in June 2022 in print format in the Circle K stations in will also be available in digital version in the Rally Estonia e-shop. The exact dates will be published by the Organizer in the spring of 2022.
When is the special stage road closed?
The road is closed at 8 o'clock pm the night before the start of the special stage.
Is it allowed to bring your own food and drink?
No, you are not allowed to bring your own food and drinks to the spectator areas, it is only allowed for small children and people with special needs.
Is there food, drink, alcohol sold on site?
Yes, you can buy food and drinks, as well as alcoholic beverages, from the catering spots located in the spectator areas.
Is it allowed to bring your own hiking chair or a small ladder to the spectator area?
Yes, it is allowed to bring your own hiking chair or ladder.
Can I take my barbecue?
No, the use of a barbecue and making a campfire in the rally areas is prohibited.
Can an umbrella be used?
Yes, but it is strongly recommended to use a raincoat. Umbrella limits the view for other spectators.
What is the distance from the car park to the viewing points?
Depending on the exact location, the distances vary from 100 m to 2.5 km.
Is there available disabled parking?
No, unfortunately no separate parking spaces have been designated for disabled parking. We recommend that you arrive as soon as the parking areas are open and inform the on-site security staff that you wish to park as close as possible.
Is it possible to return / exchange the ticket?
The ticket can only be returned in case of the rally pass owner being tested positive for COVID-19.
Is flying drones, including hobby drones, permitted during the rally?
Drones are a severe threat to low-flying aircraft; therefore, flying drones is prohibited during the rally for safety reasons. The only drones permitted to fly are those registered in advance and approved by the organiser.
May I bring a drone to the spectator area?
Entering the spectator area with a drone is prohibited and the organiser is entitled to confiscate it.
What will happen if I have brought a drone along with me?
Drones flown without permission will be removed by the organiser with the help of a drone catcher and the drone will be confiscated.
Which types of limitations are applicable to aircraft and drones in Tartu and the surrounding areas during the rally?
Aircraft and drones are prohibited to enter Tartu and the surrounding areas during the rally. Further information regarding limitations on pilots is available on the webpage of the Estonian Air Navigation Services at AIRAC AIP SUP 07/2022.
Restrictions are not applicable to rally-related flights, search and rescue flights as well as medical flights.
Under which conditions is an aircraft permitted to use the Tõutsi airfield and Maaritsa or Mäha heliports during the rally?
Arrival and departure from Tõutsi airfield and Maaritsa or Mäha heliports must be coordinated beforehand with the rally organiser.
The aircraft’s captain must notify the rally organiser at least 24 hours before arriving or departing from airfield or heliport at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Additionally, before arriving or departing from the airfield or heliport, you must apply for a permit from the rally organiser via the telephone number +372 5670 0286. You must have an agreement with the operator of airfield or heliport before landing.

Under which conditions is it allowed to conduct regular flights and training flights in and around Tartu?
Training flights as well as technical inspection flights in and around Tartu must be agreed on beforehand with Tartu air traffic control. More detailed information about the aeronautical information compilation is available at AIRAC AIP SUP 07/2022.
Which types of refueling options are available to registered aircraft in the rally area?
Registered aircraft have the possibility to refuel in Tartu Airport JET A-1 as well as Avgas 100LL.
